“It’s a game that as a club, and a group of players, we can really only benefit from,” said Shamrock Rovers coach Michael O’Neill at the Tallaght this afternoon while addressing a press conference on the ev of the match against Juventus. “It’s a chance to enhance reputations, individually and collectively, an opportunity play against the best in the world”.

O’Neill admitted that the expectations against Bnei Yehuda were somewhat different and Shamrock had a realisic chance however “With Juve coming to Tallaght the pressure is off and there’s an opportunity to enjoy the occasion although we understand how important it is to give a good account of ourselves.”

Just like Del Neri, coach O’Neill decided not to reveal his formation for tomorrow’s match stating that he has not yet decided on whether to feel 3, 4 or 5 players in midfield but believes that Shamrock have a better chance of scoring in Dublin and that the further the team can stick to the 0-0 result the better the result will be.
