Esteban Cambiasso spoke of his disappointment at having to settle for a 1-1 draw against Parma. "The draw is right, their goalkeeper had an excellent game," he told Inter Channel. "We did our bit but they certainly deserve great credit. Fortunately we are used to winning, so we are disappointed today. But it's fine anyway; we fought until the end."

Esteban dropped into defence in the final stages as Materazzi soldiered on up front despite his injury. "I'm sorry for Materazzi. He will be out now and it's not nice. We thank him for what he has done."

For Cambiasso, mental condition is as important as fitness: "I'm convinced that physical form is often affected by psychogical form. I think our general condition is excellent at the moment.

"We're disappointed because we always want to win, but now we're thinking about Napoli and getting three important points for the table."
