ROMA, Burdisso: "Rome was my only choice"

Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso has talked about his recent transfer from Inter Milan: "I have been signed on August 22nd and the day after I played against Genoa. I am sorry for the result of that game, though i think that I played well. I was very emotioned, because Roma was my only choice. Why? Because at Inter I was fine, Mourinho always gave me the possibility to play, and it would have been nonsense to change club without a valid reason; and Roma was for me the valid reason to leave: an important club, with many champions and well organized. My head told me that this was going to be the right choice for my career".
