He was meant to lead AC Milan's frontline this season after impressing last year at Genoa, but an unfortunate series of injuries have prevented centre-forward Marco Borriello from playing most games. In an interview with Milan Channel today, Borriello said : "I am recovering well. I train twice a day and my legs are feeling better. I am happy to be able to run again and I look forward to next season, without thinking about this disappointing and unlucky season. AC Milan's medical staff and I will not rush my recovery, but I hope to be able to play some of the last Serie A matches in May. .... I noticed that AC Milan fans support me and show their affection all the time, even when I meet them on the street. They are waiting for me to play and often ask me when I will recover. I look forward to playing fulltime for AC Milan for many, many years".
