REAL MADRID, Fans petition for Cannavaro

Real Madrid fans based in Madrid have decided to sign a petition in the city with the objective of keeping Fabio Cannavaro next season. Jesus Morera, chairman of Real Madrid's official fan club, stated : "Because of his dedication, his performances, his discipline and for the good of madridismo, Cannavaro must stay !". All Real Madrid fan club members can also sign online at www.renovacioncannavaro.com. The completed petition will than be delivered to Real officials, who will later pass it on to the club's new chairman (set to be elected in May).
